Grand Rapids is in Michigan, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Grand Rapids follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The cookies were fresh, soft, and full of flavor. Each bite tasted homemade and perfectly balanced in sweetness. Great quality and a delicious treat that I’d happily purchase again.

Downtown GR, MI today June 17 at 3:10pm My 14yo daughter and I go to enter insomnia cookies and a homeless person says “you a fine one” and winks at my daughter. I go outside and tell him he “has no business talking to her she’s a minor” and I go inside to buy my cookies. A few moments later he enters and is yelling he never said that, why are you (my 14yo) lying on me, I’m believing a liar, he didn’t stay anything he only winked, etc. this goes on for several minutes before the counter person then tells him AND me and my daughter we need to leave!! I’m literally a customer so he agrees to let us stay yet the guy continues to yell and harass us for another couple mins and then leaves. He stands directly outside the door to insomnia. The counter person did nothing and still messed up our order. He never rang up all 6 cookies only 5, then refusing to make it right unless I went back outside for my wallet and paid for the cookie he forgot to ring up and walk past the guy outside twice more who was now scream singing at the insomnia door. I had to call a male friend who waiting in a car nearby to walk me to the car. Ridiculous! Don’t go here unless you have a CPL and can walk the clerk

Unfortunate I have to rate this establishment one star, as the ice cream was pretty good. What wasn’t good was the mini scoops or the lackluster service. First negative, no public restroom. Next negative, over $11 for barely any ice cream. Four pathetic scoops and I’m unsatisfied. Attached is a photo of the extra “scoop” I purchase for over $2 on top of my over $9 for three lackluster “scoops“. One scoop is eaten in six bites, I counted. I’ll be disputing the charge.

A few years ago I ordered a wonderful cookie cake from here (the red velvet one).I ordered one again yesterday for a birthday today and was shocked at the difference. The image looks like a piece of paper just sitting on the top, a few years ago it was baked into the cookie and had icing. I ordered the small cake and it’s way smaller than expected. When I ordered it said it feeds 3-4 people and it was $21. It did not list the size when I ordered. I only saw on the receipt when I received it that it says 6 inches. In what world would this feed 3-4 people and cost that much? Thankfully the nice girl I called refunded me but I am still upset since this was for a birthday and charging $21 for what I received is insane. This can’t even be considered a cookie cake in my opinion. Just a larger cookie.

Located in the downtown bar district of Grand Rapids, MI, is this quality Cookie masterpiece. Cobblestone brick road lead you like a kid in Candyland down to the eatery. Three words cookies, ice cream, and late night availability. Great for a day time drop in or a late night splurge. The menu is packed full of cookies of all sorts. The ice cream is a tasty display I would recommend indulging in. When in Grand Rapids and having a late nite. Eat at Insomnia cookies. You won't regret being a cookie monster here.
